The 16th Chinese peacekeeping engineering unit to Darfur, Sudan was mainly formed by a brigade of the 82nd Army Group Army of the Central Theater Command.Set up engineering guarantee, support guarantee, guard squadron and first-level hospital,A total of 225 people.
As the United Nations and the African Union’s Joint Mission in Darfur (UNAFIL), the only engineering support force in the region,They are mainly responsible for plane construction, maintenance and upgrading of main roads, laying infrastructure, assembling prefabricated structural panels, maintenance and construction of airports and aprons.
